Setting the captives free.
Big problems need smart thinking.
Rescue + Prevent exists to fight and abolish the evils of human trafficking. We have a team of 8 rescue agents under our partner organisation in Thailand that conduct daily investigations to find victims, gather evidence and organise successful rescue raids. This alone will not stop future victims from being trafficked so we go beyond this to take down the managers, owners, profiteers and corrupt government officials who enable these crimes to perpetuate.
We are not just about rescuing victims, we exist to stop people from becoming victims in the first place. So we further work to educate communities through media and partners to help rehabilitate victims so they can break the cycle and live fulfilling lives.
GravityLab is a crucial and valued sponsor of Rescue and Prevent. Their CEO is our national direction, hear from him and the Ronnasit Foundation

We go after the hardest cases
“Cases face so much difficulty. Evidence keeps vanishing, and, of greater concern, so do witnesses.“ - Ronnasit, leader of the Thai team

Our safety is put on the line. We go after the hardest and most difficult cases with corruption and local Mafia. Our team have been attacked, but we go after the cases the other international NGOs deem too dangerous.

We are the first team to prosecute a high-ranking police colonel (325 years jail sentence). The ripple effect of this is less corruption and more fear of the brothel owners and traffickers. This is what is required to reduce the number of children in sexual slavery. We need to Prevent! and prevention comes through prosecution and removing corruption.

Cambodia - 100 rescues
A 16 year old girl calls our team from Poipet. She knows of us because of the reputation with have for being safe and taking action. She has been trafficked and not yet raped, she's at risk of being murdered for contacting us.

We use this intel to run a rescue mission where we find 31 victims of human trafficking. Then from those victims we find another location and rescue a further 68.

These victims were threatened with foreced labour, organ sales, brothels and death threats.
